Shadoe Davis has been floating around far-right spaces for some time. He shares racist, Islamophobic, and anti-LGTBQ views and spreads conspiracies on his internet based show which streams most week nights. At one point he was an FM radio host, but to my knowledge he no longer is.
Let's take a look at some of the things he says, as well as some of his associations.
Shadoe is a proponent of the great replacement conspiracy theory. Multiple far-right mass shooters were inspired by the great replacement.
Shadoe blames immigrants for "sucking the money out of the country". He also claims that he went into a Tim Horton's and nobody working there was a Canadian. Did he check their passports or birth certificates? I wonder how he came to that conclusion then.... I think we all know why. He also says if immigration levels don't change that he'll move to the U.S. to which I say.... BYYYYYYYEEEE!!!!!
Does the United States have a large need for hack radio hosts?
He's also Islamophobic, although he thinks that isn't a real thing.
Shadoe has a problem with Muslims praying in public, even though they have a right to do so. The freedom movement, am I right?
Apparently he's buddies with Wayne Peters.
He's also a fan of Steve Garvey and the "National Citizens Alliance". They used to engage in a lot of Islamophobia but now Garvey just stumbles around with a radio frequency detector complaining about radiation. Totally not tinfoil hat stuff.
He also promotes Brad Salzberg of the Cultural Action Party. Peters, Garvey, and Salzberg aren't quite as relevant as they used to be. But looking them up again was a trip down memory lane.
He interviewed Alberta separatist Jeff Rath, where they discussed how Alberta will just take over all of Canada's military bases in the province if they separate which is laughable.
He has also promoted Marcus Ray who was threatening to take over Canadian court houses. Shadoe once had to calm his audience down when they began threatening the CFIA over their plans to cull ostriches infected with avian flu at Universal Ostrich Farm in BC.
Shadoe is very transphobic, referring to transgender people as mentally ill. He also claims with zero proof that Winnipeg schools had litter boxes for children who identify as cats.
He's totally in support of Donald Trump's authoritarian move to put troops on the streets of Washington D.C. though.Highly concerning is that Shadoe was using his website to show the documentary series Europa: The Last Battle. For those unaware Europa is a 12 hour long Nazi propaganda movie. It claims that Jews started both world wars, denies that the Holocaust happened, and suggests that Adolf Hitler was protecting Germany. The movie was made by Swedish Neo-Nazi Tobias Bratt who has associations with the Nordic Resistance Movement which is currently listed as a terrorist group by the US government.
And Shadoe seems to understand that the documentary series is pro-Hitler.
And of course, Shadoe is a fan of our own local Neo-Nazis: Jeremy Mackenzie and Diagolon.
He's such a fan of Diagolon that he spreads lies about how the RCMP planted guns at the Coutts blockade.
Shadoe also invited Diagolon fan-boy Greg Wycliffe on to discuss "mass deportations", which is a euphemism for ethnic cleansing.
And one final clip from Shadoe to lighten the mood a bit. To show out of touch the guy is, here he is claiming that punk rockers with long spiky hair are conservatives.
lol What?
