Anti-Fascism Canada: Jeremy "The Fed" Mackenzie vs Josh "Mr Freedom" Bigger (& Ezra Levant)

I'm writing this a bit later than I had hoped as I had a very busy spring and summer with non-antifa related matters. I also helped Red Table Collective with their article about Angela Pagniello, and wrote about the drama involving Greg Wycliffe. So some of this information may be a bit dated but I started working on this and damn it I'm going to finish. I apologize in advance if it's a little sloppy.

All of this began back in March when Josh Bigger AKA: "Mr Freedom" began speaking out against Jeremy Mackenzie and Second Sons.

Josh has been working with Ray Andrews(AKA: "Rayzor" AKA: "Bam Bam") a guy who makes up his own nicknames and who started an "anti-pedophile" group called "Goofbusters". *insert eye roll emoji

Both Bigger and Andrews have engaged in anti-LGTBQ+ bullying. The conflict within Goofbusters began because Rob "Primo" Primerano was using the group's social media to push white nationalism.

Apparently Josh was receiving complaints from supporters.
"these organizations tried to join what we're doing, and were literally giving us a bad name, so all of the people can join us, we don't have any white supremacy coming to our rallies"

He also claims that Second Sons members are selling steroids and have ties to biker gangs.
"second scums, whatever, I can't get the names right, I think the one guy that runs it is named Slob Sheemo, big head, small body, out of shape, sells steroids, these guys"
"they're affiliated with the biker club, these illegal gangs have been charged with human trafficking"

Hard to believe that Josh didn't realize that they are white nationalists. He has appeared on their livestreams. He also has his own history of antisemitism. Either way, he is so done with Diagolon that he threw the ring that was gifted to him into the trash. Since Primo has control of the "Goofbusters" social media, Josh and Ray started a new group called "Bam Bam's Backup". The commenters on Facebook were divided.

This began a flurry of fighting between Josh and the Diagolon supporters. Ray mostly stayed out of it.

This next section will be fairly screenshot heavy so apologies for that.
Josh made multiple insulting posts about Second Sons and Jeremy. He also shared some private messages between himself and Jeremy.

Diagolon supporters predictably responded negatively to his posts. This included people suggesting that Josh and Jeremy organize a fight, as well as an accusation that Josh went to a "whore house".

Jeremy also posted on Facebook expressing that he feels betrayed. He also says that Josh wanted to join Second Sons.

The responses to these posts were insulting and full of fight challenges.

For some reason Donald Smith asked Jeremy to doxx me.

At one point Jeremy's partner Morgan Guptil got into it with Josh.

Opinions seem to be split in the old "freedom" movement.
Cullen McDonald, Kelly Anne Farkas, and James Bauder appeared to show some support for Second Sons and Jeremy, while Tajana Cekic obviously did not.

Colin Bigbear renewed an old fight challenge he has with Alex Vriend.

Alex Vriend eventually spoke out against Josh on his stream, stating that he doesn't care about him at all.

So that is essentially what happened between Josh and Jeremy. We'll circle back around to that in a bit though.

I don't think this sends the message he thinks it does.

Now we'll get to something a bit more interesting. A few years ago, Rebel Media founder Ezra Levant referred to Jeremy Mackenzie as a "fed", a nebulous term for sure but Jeremy took great offense to this, so much so that he sued Ezra.

Jeremy was his usual overconfident self regarding the lawsuit. Ezra brushed it off by doubling down on his statements.

In typical Diagolon fashion, Jeremy lost. And from reading the decision it was in pretty spectacular fashion. Jeremy's argument was based on 3 claims that Ezra made that he considered defamatory: that he founded an explicitly racist organization, that he is a government agent, and that he concocted a social media movement to entrap the Coutts 4.

Jeremy testified in court that Ezra's statements made him boo boo on his fee fees.

As for the first question, the judge found that Jeremy did in fact found an explicitly racist organization. With evidence from the Canadian Anti-Hate Network, which really had to sting.

Regarding the second question of whether Jeremy Mackenzie could be considered a fed not only did the judge consider it acceptable to call him that due to him snitching on someone, but that the term fed does not harm the reputation of someone in the eyes of a reasonable person. So it's open season on calling Jeremy a fed. Talk about a fail of a lawsuit.

And finally, did Jeremy create Diagolon to entrap the Coutts 4? The judge seems to feel the question is unfair as the statements were made with other context that was not considered.

So Jeremy's entire claim was dismissed and he was ordered to pay Ezra's legal costs.
Well played little man.

Ezra immediately took to Twitter to rub Jeremy's nose in it.

Of course Jeremy has an excuse for why he lost.... it was the JEWS!

Morgan and Leigh Stuart were also quick to blame Jews.

Jeremy handled the loss about as well as you would expect, by trying to rev up his supporters.

Jeremy went live with Derek Harrison. Derek and Jeremy mocked the decision.

Jeremy claims that this hurt Ezra and did not hurt him. Sure sounds like a cope.
"You won, you spent money to make yourself look like an asshole and hurt your reputation even more. This did not hurt me at all."

And of course they said the judge was Jewish and blamed that for the loss.

Jeremy is upset that Ezra used reporting from the CBC and the Canadian Anti-Hate Network as sources.
"he markets himself as the rebel news, they're the rebels, you can't trust CBC, you certainly can't trust antihate, you've got to be careful of the police. All three of those things were the entirety of his defense..."
Jeremy also suggested that someone was recording the trial.
"He was talking all kinds of trash too after the judge left the room, while the cameras were still running. It may or may not have been recorded."

Alex Vriend suggests that the Rebel raises money unethically.

And to bring this all the way back around to Josh Bigger, the court decision couldn't have come at a better time. He didn't hesitate to use it against Jeremy.
