Looks like it's time to continue the discussion about whether we should be referring to Diagolon as a Neo-Nazi movement. The Canadian Anti-Hate Network recently reported on Alex Vriend's decision to live stream with various far-right and Neo-Nazi figures. I have previously reported on Diagolon's attempts to recruit people into Neo-Nazi Active Clubs, as well as Alex Vriend starting his own. In this blog entry I want to discuss some of the recent statements made by Vriend and other notable Dags.
Dan Sleno added himself to the list of Diagolon live streamers who have endorsed people joining Neo-Nazi Active Clubs.
This was after Ontario Active Club members Matthew Althorpe and Kristoffer Nippak were charged with terrorism related offenses.
As previously noted, Alex Vriend invited Australian Neo-Nazi Thomas Sewell on to a live stream. Alex tells the audience that at some point nationalists will have to address "the Hitler question". Of course speaking with the leader of the Australian National Socialist Movement and telling him that you appreciate what he has to say will certainly raise those questions.
Does saying that the Nazis were the good guys in WWII, and that it's the Jews that want you to believe otherwise make you a Neo-Nazi? I would argue yes, but I'm sure Diagolon would balk at that notion.
Does inviting someone onto your live stream to promote the creation of a world-wide Neo-Nazi movement make you a Neo-Nazi? Maybe this is why you keep having to respond to "the Hitler question" Alex....
... or it could be that you re-broadcast Hitler speeches....
... or perhaps it's because of the roman salutes you and
Derek do on your live streams.
Alex enjoys seeing non-white people whom he calls "migrants" and "invaders" getting assaulted and he states that he hopes more of it happens. He and
Jeremy believe that "vigilantism" will increase against immigrants.
Here
Derek complains about seeing a Muslim weatherperson, even though he doesn't even watch the news.
Ferryman seems confident that they can just start deporting people.
This is why I state as often and as loudly as possible: THERE. IS. NO. PEACEFUL. WHITE. NATIONALISM.
Of course
Derek blames women and thinks they should lose the right to vote.
Josh Bigger (AKA:
Mr Freedom) who is a
Diagolon supporter was on a live stream with Zach Schmitt (also a Diagolon supporter) where Schmitt discussed a "revolution with gallows" and "
the Jewish question".
More on "the Jewish Question" and both of them seem to question the Holocaust.
On a live stream with
Diagolon streamer Tom McCue, Josh makes it clear that he thinks that there should be no issue with questioning the Holocaust.
Zach uses his blog to promote the
Neo-Nazi "14-words" slogan. He also implies that Jews are protecting pedophiles and that Canadians need to become more racist and hateful.
Jeremy Mackenzie recently went on a live stream with UK
Neo-Nazi Mark Collett.
And of course,
Jeremy is still his usual antisemitic self.
He also went on a live stream with his old buddy,
Holocaust denier Ryan Dawson.
During the stream they discussed the
Neo-Nazi "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville and spread the alt-right lie that Heather Hayer wasn't
murdered but died of a heart attack.
What's funny is that recently Dawson showed disapproval towards open displays of Nazism in their movement. I wonder whether he mentioned that to his Diagolon friends.
So to sum up in the last year Diagolon streamers have:
- promoted Neo-Nazi Active Clubs
- engaged in Holocaust minimization/denial
- given roman salutes
- interviewed Neo-Nazis
- advocated for "migrants" to be deported
- shared speeches by Adolf Hitler
- quoted Mein Kampf to justify their views
- repeated Neo-Nazi slogans
And the only response they'll have for the allegation that they're Neo-Nazis is to gaslight people.
Don't fall for it.
