Lisa Robinson joins a fake Indigenous group

I'm a little late to the party in writing about this but yes, Pickering city councilor Lisa Robinson was asked to act as "deputy chief" of a fake Indigenous group called "Kawartha Lakes First Nation".

And Lisa does appear to accept her new position by stating "I believe I'm on board". 

Well let's take some time to examine what it is that Lisa believes that she is on board with. Earlier in the same live stream Kawartha Lakes First Nation "Chief" William(Bill) Denby leans in on the sovereign citizen beliefs.

He also spread conspiracy theories about the BLM movement.

After Lisa appeared on stream he claimed that they will show up in Pickering council meetings to support her and described a fake "veto power" that he claims his group has over municipal councils. He also claims that Lisa will no longer be "gagged" and that they'll ensure she no longer loses her salary which they clearly failed at. 

Denby also claims that they can create their own "peace force".

He also claims that Lisa Robinson is now native, and that they will be able to sue other city halls for $200,000 each. Also that they can close city halls and mayors and councilors will be removed and some will face jail time.

Denby also states that in their nation there will be no pride events, no trans people, and the LGTBQ+ community would basically have to live in the closet. Lisa Robinson who was already received a 60-day pay suspension for making anti-LGTBQ+ statements seems to nod in agreement.

For a great back ground on Bill Denby check out the pantsaflame blog. They go into great detail regarding his lies, his criminal history, and his bogus lawsuits. But let's take a look into some of the things he has said in the past.
Here he and other member of his group speak against the LGTBQ+ community.

He's an anti-vaxxer which shouldn't surprise anyone. He also thinks that Canadian elections are fake.

Bill Denby has expressed blatant transphobia and antisemitism. He also openly displays the confederate flag.

What is fascinating about Denby and Kawartha Lakes Frist Nation, is the contempt that they have for actual Indigenous peoples. They show no sympathy for past atrocities committed, and refer to actual First Nations' groups as "fake Indians".

But enough about Lisa Robinson's new chief. Let's get back to what she's been up to. She appeared on the Shadoe Davis show recently, and he made racist comments about Haitians right in front of her while she laughed about it. Shadoe has a history of racist comments. I'm hoping to document more about Shadoe in the future.

In very unshocking news, Lisa Robinson had her pay suspended for the fifth time in June. This time for making untrue claims about how the municipal government in Pickering functions. During the hearing she was allowed to make a statement, in which she referred to a city official as "Hitler in heels". Ironic considering she attended a rally that was organized by an open neo-nazi. 

She then began abusing another councilor for smiling when Lisa mentioned her by name and berated her for eating during stream which was later explained by another councilor that she is pregnant and must eat during council meetings for medical reasons. It sure seems like Lisa never wants to get paid again at this point.

Robinson was eventually muted, which probably kept her from digging her hole deeper.

Finally Lisa Robinson made a post on social media stating that Pickering city council requires a "reckoning".

To my understanding in the next municipal election Lisa Robinson plans to run for mayor of Pickering. Hopefully that frees up her Ward 1 seat for someone who can act appropriately towards their fellow councilors.
