Panel Discussion with the Dominion Society Reveals Antisemitic Leanings

Recently Dominion Society founders Daniel Tyrie and Greg Wycliffe attended a live stream hosted by Nico Lagan and Jason Lavigne. I've written about Jason Lavigne in the past and his platforming of racists but I had never heard of Nico until this week. He seems to hold typical right-wing beliefs.

The topic of discussion for the live stream was "remigration", also known as ethnic cleansing. Daniel Tyrie describes remigration as a way to maintain a country's "ethno-cultural identity".

Jeff Evely was on the stream as well. He is known for showing pictures of genitals to children at a library. In this clip he shares his thoughts on remigration and states that "they have to go back". The people in the chat really don't seem to like Evely, often referring to him using antisemitic language.

Conspiracy theorist Tajana Cekic AKA: Tajana Truthseeker was on the stream. She seemed to object to racism and again, the people in the chat really didn't like that. And a heads up that Tajana uses the ableist R-word slur often.

Tajana says that she feels isolated due to online attacks, mostly from the Diagolon community. She mentions attacks from Jeremy Mackenzie specifically.

Jason Lavigne tries to correct Tajana, and reminds her that Second Sons and Dominion Society are separate organizations. Which, true. But there is so much overlap in support and membership that it's not really relevant. For example Greg Wycliffe has supported Jeremy Mackenzie, Diagolon, and Second Sons, and Alex Vriend of Second Sons is a member of the Dominion Society.

Tyrie also claims that he considers himself half-Canadian. To my understanding his grandfather is from Jamaica.

Tajana goes on the first of her many conspiracy laden rants. You can tell the Dominion Society supporters don't appreciate this.

Daniel Tyrie claims that remigration is only about people breaking laws and "illegal immigrants", but their website states that they would remove people on the basis of  "national interest, loyalty, and cultural compatibility" or "engaging in anti-Canadian or subversive behaviour". Tyrie and Wycliffe try to tell Tajana to ignore the chat, concerned over the antisemitism. He also states that it's others who obsessed with Israel and Jews, ignoring that Wycliffe has made antisemitic comments in the past and is a part of the openly antisemitic Diagolon community.

Tajana is still focused on the comments. Jason Lavigne says they would like to hide the comments, but in my opinion they're an indicator of the antisemites that support the Dominion Society.

Tajana then goes on another conspiracy rant, this time about digital IDs.

She then calls "Leigh Stavy" in the chat a loser. She meant Leigh Stuart. 

Later in the stream Jeff Evely says that the PPC are woke leftists... because words no longer matter.

Daniel Tyrie states that he is an "identitarian".

In this clip Tyrie and Evely call each other leftists. lol

Here is where things take a turn for the worse. The topic of Israel comes up, who Evely is a supporter of. Greg Wycliffe says that he admires Zionists because they "collectivize". 

Greg says that he wants immigration policies in Canada similar to what Israel has.

Greg is upset that Israel can create an ethnostate(through genocide), but he thinks it's unfair that Canadians who want an ethnostate become excluded from conversations. Jeff responds to Greg's complaints by stating that Israel's actions can be justified if you believe that the Holocaust happened which Greg really didn't respond well to. Greg believes that Jeff was accusing him of Holocaust denial which was not the point he was making. 

I understand why Greg would be so sensitive regarding the subject of Holocaust denial, considering he hangs around with so many Holocaust deniers.

Evely claims that the Dominion Society is fixated on Israel and the Jews. Lavigne and Tyrie downplay that, but clearly they aren't looking in the chats.

Jeff clarifies his positions regarding Israel and the Holocaust and states that he wasn't accusing anyone of Holocaust denial. It's pretty clear that he wasn't in my opinion.

Evely seems fixated on some old PPC Twitter drama.

In this next clip I feel like Greg really lets the mask slip a bit. In it he complains that "Jews" are pushing countries to enact hate speech laws to deflect criticism. He also refers to this as an example of "foreign interference".
First of all, hate speech laws protect many marginalized communities, not just Jews. Secondly why would Jewish people who reside in Canada(or any country for that matter) and who propose laws against hate speech be considered foreign? I don't think it's a stretch to say that if Greg feels that way that he also thinks that Jews can't be Canadian. But that's only my interpretation.
And to Jeff's credit he calls him out on that.

To wrap things up Tajana goes on one final rant.

And Evely doesn't like Second Sons because they wear masks at events.

This group discussion went so poorly that Nico invited Tyrie back on to discuss the Dominion Society without any distractions. He used it as a chance to define what he refers to as "heritage Canadians" and "ethnic Canadians". He basically means white people.

The Dominion Society wants to somehow enforce language laws across the country.

Daniel discusses how remigration would eventually involve forced relocations. This kind of went without saying. There is no non-violent way to create an ethnostate.

Tyrie and Lagan single out Muslims for potentially being deported. They claim that they aren't assimilating. The Dominion Society also wants to ban halal and kosher food.

Islamophobia is nothing new for Tyrie.

The original racism hot stove set off a torrent of infighting between Jeff Evely and Dominion Society/Diagolon/Second Sons supporters.

And Greg still could not understand that Jeff did not accuse him of Holocaust denial.

Alex Vriend eventually discussed Jeff Evely's comments, and he really doesn't like him.

He was triggered by the fact that Evely mentioned his Jewish grandson at the beginning of the stream.

And he doesn't like Tajana Truthseeker. He doesn't like Jason Lavigne either, but we already knew that.

Derek eventually shows up and enjoys that Greg laughed at Jeff Evely.

Then the two of them mock the Holocaust, as usual.

And a week later, they're still going at it.

At the end of the day the Dominion Society can deny their ties to Second Sons and Diagolon all they want, but the reality is they have recruited heavily from that community.

And when you recruit Neo-Nazis, allegations of antisemitism will never go away and nor should they.
